Verkina Flower
Adorable blonde actress Verkina Flower was a cute, fresh and appealingly sweet presence in a handful of enjoyable 70s low-budget drive-in exploitation features. Verkina was especially memorable as Young Molly in the disturbing flashback sequences in Matt Cimber's outstanding "The Witch Who Came from the Sea." She was likewise solid as a little girl who's chased around a warehouse by a machete-wielding lunatic in the deliciously cheesy "Drive-In Massacre," a teenager who gets scared by Sasquatch in "The Capture of Bigfoot," a party hearty camper in the uproariously raucous'n'raunchy "Summercamp," and a sickly lass in "Beyond Evil." Outside of acting, Verkina Flower was the costume designer on such movies as "Relentless," "Cohen and Tate," "Overkill," and "Top Dog," did the wardrobe for the splendidly sleazy sicko Santa slasher classic "Silent Night, Deadly Night," and was the set decorator on the crummy slice'n'dice groaner "Terror on Tour." She's the daughter of character actor George "Buck" Flower.
