Ann Kok

Ann Kok used to work in the Travel industry before she entered the Entertainment world. She was a finalist in Star Search 1993, a bi-annual contest organized by Mediacorp's TCS8 (the mandarin channel) with the aim to recruit new artistes. Ann successfully won a contract with TCS and soon her acting career began.

From the girl next door to a sharp lawyer, Ann has done many roles during her first spell with TCS which ran between year 1993 to 2000. During that time she has also developed her talent in singing, she then went on to release 3 albums.

After 7 years she parted ways with Mediacorp in year 2000 and moved to Hong Kong to further her acting career. Although she was not successful in her ventures overseas, Ann has gained lots of exposures in environments much more competitive than in Singapore. Those valuable knowledge and insights would serve her well when she returned to Singapore and Mediacorp.

Ann Kok is now a more complete actress and currently enjoying her second spell with TCS8.
