Matthew Adams
Matthew Adams, better known by the ring name Buddy Matthews, is an Australian professional wrestler currently signed to All Elite Wrestling (AEW), where he is a former AEW World Trios Champion with Brody King and Malakai Black as the now-defunct House of Black.
From 2013 to 2021, he wrestled for World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), debuting in NXT as Buddy Murphy, winning the NXT Tag Team Championship with Wesley Blake, then moving to the main roster where he won the WWE Cruiserweight Championship and the Raw Tag Team Championship with Seth Rollins.
Adams made his professional wrestling debut in 2007 as Matt Silva at Professional Championship Wrestling (PCW), later competing across the Australian independent scene with Melbourne City Wrestling (MCW) and Riot City Wrestling (RCW), and, after his WWE release, he worked for various independent promotions before debuting for AEW in 2022.
In 2024, he married fellow Australian professional wrestler Rhea Ripley.
