She is perhaps best known for her TV roles as Roberta Deeks on NCIS: LA, Marlene Griggs-Knope on the NBC sitcom Parks and Recreation, matriarch Gail Green on Jericho, Judge Sydney J. Solomon on the sitcom The Home Court, Denise Lerner on the sitcom Family Album, Janice Pasetti on the sitcom Grand, Mary Welsh on the miniseries Hemingway, T.J.
