Anthony Harwood
Anthony David Harwood was born in Perth, Western Australia.
During his time in Perth, Anthony appeared in numerous productions including Eugene in "Grease" and Amos Hart (Mr Cellophane) in "Chicago" at the RegalTheatre. He formed The West Australian SP Theatre Company in 2004; the aim being to provide a platform for talented young actors to perform in Perth's professional venues.
Landing a regular role on Irish/Australian co-production "Foreign Exchange" paved the way toward the role of Rick Martino on the television drama "Streetsmartz" (2005). With this and two successful productions under his theatre company's banner: Ben Elton's "Popcorn" and "Pageant: the Musical", Anthony relocated to London.
Receiving a Masters in Performance from Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, Anthony has gone on to perform in the inaugural production at the Saint James Theatre, the first new West End theatre to be built in 30 years. He has worked with notable directors including Emmy award-winning Tom Kuntz, Mike Long, Jonathan Firth, Peter Lydon and Luke Snellin.
