Collin Blair
Although he hails from South Texas, Collin began his writing career while living in Romania, where his script "The Family Lottery" was produced by MediaPro Pictures. The film follows a young orphan's search for a family to host her for Christmas and has since become a holiday staple
In 2020, Collin's script "King James", which was a Semi-Finalist for the Academy Nicholl Fellowship, was optioned by Producer Peter Samuelson (Arlington Road, The Libertine, Revenge of the Nerds). Collin has also written and directed multiple award-winning short films, which have screened at festivals across the globe such as Raindance, LA Shortsfest, Hollyshorts, and the Santa Fe Film Festival. Collin has a BA in Film Production from the USC School of Cinematic Arts. When not writing and directing film and TV projects he is a mentor with the Young Storytellers Foundation in Los Angeles.
