He did some adventure diving for shipwrecks off the coast of North Africa. In 1960 he returned to the United States to resume his acting and singing career. He moved to Los Angeles and was signed by Paramount Studios where he appeared in the movie "Paint Your Wagon" and "On A Clear Day." This led to television parts, and he had roles in "Bonanza", "Adam-12", "Dan August", "Cannon", "FBI", "Interns", "High Chaparral", "Most Wanted", and "Barnaby Jones".
