Sarah Elizabeth Jensen
Sarah grew up in Willington, CT. As a child, she loved watching movies, fencing, drawing, and writing short stories.
Early school field trips to the Connecticut Repertory Theatre made Sarah become enamored with the idea of learning the craft. She was ecstatic when she got accepted into Uconn’s BFA acting program and had the chance to study in that community.
In 2015, Sarah’s educational track sent her to study abroad in London. She saw over 40 productions and studied with renowned faculty from the Royal Central School of Speech in Drama.
During those three months, she saw a plethora of contemporary, Greek, and Shakespearean plays, as well as operas and musicals. She attended venues such as Shakespeare’s Globe, West End Theatres, Off- West End Theatres, and the Royal Shakespeare Company. She loved seeing classic plays and contemporary adaptions of them.
Sarah Elizabeth Jensen is a well-rounded and critical-thinking artist. She strives to create work that speaks to the present moment by closely examining context, structure, symbolism, and psychology.
