Steve Casey
Stephen Casey was an Irish rower and professional wrestler. In rowing, he made a name for himself with his family, winning titles such as the 1936 English Championship, although he couldn't compete in the Olympics due to his professional wrestling career.
He debuted in professional wrestling in 1936 and achieved his greatest success in 1938 by winning the AWA World Heavyweight Championship. He became a multiple-time champion and continued wrestling until 1947, also serving in World War II.
After retiring, he opened a business in Massachusetts. He passed away in 1987 and was inducted into the Irish Hall of Fame in 1982.
