Fyodor Otsep
Fyodor Otsep, also known as Fedor Ozep, was a Russian-American film director and screenwriter. He began his career as a writer on film theory and served as a dramaturge for the Mezhrabpomfilm-Rus company. Otsep wrote for directors like V.I. Pudovkin and Yakov Protazanov before transitioning to directing in 1926. His notable works include The Living Corpse (1929), based on Leo Tolstoy's play, and Amok (1934).
