Nigel Tierney

Nigel Tierney is an award winning Irish director and creative producer based in Los Angeles whose work spans animation, music, immersive media, and experimental storytelling. He directed Goldbeak and has produced and directed projects across film, digital media, and live experiences, including the global hit Earth by Lil Dicky featuring Leonardo DiCaprio, Ariana Grande, and Justin Bieber.

Tierney worked as a Senior Technical Director at DreamWorks Animation on films including Shrek Forever After, The Croods, Kung Fu Panda 3, and Captain Underpants. His background in animation and visual effects continues to shape his visually driven storytelling style.

Originally from Kilkenny, Ireland, Tierney studied computer science and animation at Old Dominion University.
